South Shore SNAP (Special Needs Athletic Partnership) and Sunset Point Camp in Hull are pleased to offer our 2nd Buddy Week program for students with special needs.
Sunset Point Camp has been providing summer camping experiences for nearly 100 years. Students who are ages 6 – 22 years old are invited to attend this year’s program from August 8 – 12 on the grounds of Sunset Point Camp. From 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. they will be integrated into Sunset Point’s wonderful program and partnered with buddies who are attending the camp. Daily recreational activities will include swimming, kayaking, paddle boats, arts and crafts, and drama. Lunch is provided on site. Campers are supervised and coached by a Camp Director, Program Director, life guards, and nurses. Staff to camper ratio is 1:3 but 1:1 coverage can be arranged if needed. There is a $25 registration fee but that is the only cost to participate in the program. For more information, send an inquiry to [email protected]. To register for this unique experience, go to www.hinghamsports.com and click on the “SNAP” tab. For information on Sunset Point Camp, please visit http://www.ccab.org/?q=sunset.
