SNAP is pleased to offer a dance program for students who receive special education services. There will be two sessions: Pre-K through K and Grade 1 – age 22.


Dates: Jan. 27, Feb. 3, Feb. 10, Feb. 24, March 2, & March 9
(No class on February 17 due to vacation week.)


Times: Ages pre-K through K: Wednesdays 4:30 – 5:00 p.m.
Ages Grade 1 – age 22: Wednesdays 5:15 – 6:00 p.m.


Location: East Elementary School – Multipurpose Room


Cost: $50


This program will blend creative movement and dance to promote self-esteem, body-awareness, self-regulation, and social skills. A range of activities and props will be integrated each week. As the sessions progress, participants will work together to develop a routine for at least one song. Kaitlyn Mazzilli, M.A., Registered Dance/Movement Therapist (R-DMT) and Mental Health Counselor will lead the program. For those participants who require it, 1:1 support will be provided.
