iCan Bike
(formerly called Lose the Training Wheels)

A program to teach individuals with disabilities how to ride a conventional bike and become a lifelong independent rider.  ...a milestone in life that creates confidence, independence & friendship 
WHEN: 
Monday August 10th- Friday August 14th 2015

WHERE:
Scituate High School, 606 Chief Justice Cushing Highway Scituate MA 

Registration begins April 27th!

9:30 AM to 10:45 AM 
11:05 AM to 12:20 PM 
1:45 PM to 3:00 PM
3:20 PM to 4:35 PM 

4:55 PM to 6:10 PM


REGISTRATION:
*Pre-registration opens to South Shore YMCA and CORSE Foundation members April 27 – May 3. This program fills fast! Interested participants are encouraged to sign up during this week, as registration opens to all on May 4.

iCan Bike riders are children and teens ages 8-22 who have a diagnosed disability but are able to walk without assistive devices, sidestep from side to side, wear a properly fitted bike helmet and a maximum weight of 220 lbs. Participants are required to attend a mandatory orientation on Sunday August 9th from 3-4.

FEE: $150
Financial Assistance requests will be considered according to established guidelines.
