SNAP/Cohasset Yoga Center
Open to Hingham and Cohasset Residents SNAP and the Cohasset Yoga Center are pleased to offer a six-week yoga program for students with special needs. This program is offered to high school students who receive special education services. The program will take place on Monday afternoons at the Cohasset Yoga Center and will be taught by Kathleen Picardi, who has been a practitioner of yoga for the past five years. Kathleen received “Yoga for the Special Child” training, and she has taught at South Shore Educational Collaborative and South Shore Support Services. The one-hour sessions will take place on the following dates: January 26, February 2, February 9, February 23, March 2, and March 9 Time: 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Location: Cohasset Yoga Center, 124 King Street, Cohasset The program will be limited to 10 participants and 1:1 support will be provided to students who require it. The cost of the program is $90 Students should wear comfortable clothing such as sweatpants and a t-shirt (no jeans). Sneakers should be easy to remove.
