Transition from School to Adult Life:
Using the IEP to Create Success
 
This FREE workshop will address transition planning and services required for youth with disabilities ages 14-22.  It will focus on transition special education services which prepare youth for employment, independent living, adult services and further education.

• Legal obligations of a school district in addressing transition for students through the IEP process
• Chapter 688
• The need for intensive, coordinated services for students with autism and other disabilities to make effective progress and transition successfully to post-school activities, including post-secondary education, employment, and community participation.

This workshop is a presentation of Mass. Advocates for Children.
