Announces the June 2015 Topic Training “PTSD IN CHILDREN AGES 4-12” Connecting Parents’ will be presenting Kathleen Boucher, R.N., M.Ed., Curry B.S.N. Student Kathleen has worked as both a nurse and a social worker with children that have been affected by PTSD. She has noted that “without intervention and treatment these children may become clinically depressed, turn to substance use/abuse or be offenders of violent assaults/sexual or physical abuse, themselves. Early Intervention and treatment are key for children. Anyone who is a care provider of children should be aware of the signs and symptoms of PTSD.” SAVE THE DATE Monday, June 22, 2015 Canton Public Library 6:30pm – 8:30pm Join us to listen, ask and learn…These trainings are sponsored by Connecting Parents’, an MSPCC (Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) program funded by the MA Department of Mental Health.
