6/22, PTSD IN CHILDREN AGES 4-12

6/22/2015
Connecting Parents’/ MSPCC

Announces the June 2015 Topic Training

“PTSD IN CHILDREN AGES 4-12”

Connecting Parents’ will be presenting

Kathleen Boucher, R.N., M.Ed., Curry B.S.N. Student

Kathleen has worked as both a nurse and a social worker with children that have been affected by PTSD.  She has noted that “without intervention and treatment these children may become clinically depressed, turn to substance use/abuse or be offenders of violent assaults/sexual or physical abuse, themselves.  Early Intervention and treatment are key for children.

Anyone who is a care provider of children should be aware of the signs and symptoms of PTSD.”
