5/20, helping your child make friends

Many parents report that their children have a hard time making friends and maintaining friendships. This workshop addresses the reasons our kids have difficulty with this particular set of skills and how parents can help their children learn these skills. We take parents step-by-step through the whole process, from the types of friendships children develop, to where to meet potential friends, to planning a get-together with a friend.

No refunds or credits to attend another workshop for no-shows. No prorated/reduced fees if you cannot attend the full workshop.

AANE reserves the right to cancel if the minimum enrollment is not met by the registration deadline. Registrants will be notified by email if the workshop is cancelled.

  Erika Drezner is a social worker and a Coordinator of Child and Teen Services at AANE. She joined the AANE staff in 2009. Erika is the mother of two wonderful kids, both of whom are on the Autism Spectrum.
