“Effective Communication and the IEP" 


“Effective Communication and the IEP” presented by Federation for Children with Special Needs (FCSN) and sponsored by Cohasset SEPAC will be held on Tuesday, February 3rd from 7-9PM at the Paul Pratt Library in Cohasset.

This workshop addresses the communication skills needed by parents participating as members of the IEP Team. The presentation includes communication skill building techniques to help parents engage effectively in the IEP process through clear concise communication. Participants will learn about pitfalls to avoid and applying best practice strategies to resolve conflict when it occurs. The workshop will be presented by Special Education Attorney, Clare Vann. 

Also, the SEPAC website, www.CohassetSEPAC.org, has been updated with many speakers, activities and workshop in the area. 
All Cohasset SEPAC speakers are free and open to the public and refreshments will be served.
