If you have attended Tier 1, you can further advance your proficiency in CPS at our Tier 2 Training where you will learn how to use Plan B in the most challenging situations as well as learn how to effectively teach the model to others.
*Tier 1 Intensive Training is intended for parents, mental health clinicians and educators who have some prior exposure and are interested in becoming more proficient in the CPS approach.  Read more about our seminars below!

The Think:Kids Certification Program offers clinicians, educators, and other professionals dedicated to helping challenging kids and their families the opportunity to become certified in the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) approach. The CPS certification program begins with an initial application. All applicants must have completed CPS Tier 1 and Tier 2 training prior to applying. In addition, the application process involves completing a few requirements.

If accepted into the certification program, participants receive intensive training that includes group and individual supervision, as well as individualized written and verbal feedback. Our aim is to help individuals move through the certification program and become Certified Practitioners within one-year. Participants, who are interested in formally coaching and training others in CPS, can apply to become a CPS Certified Trainer once they have completed the CPS Certified Practitioner track.

Certified Practitioners and Trainers receive access to our Parent Group Curriculum and many Think:Kids materials, including power-point slides for trainers. In addition, we offer post-certification seminars and training throughout the year where ongoing support and education about the model are provided.
