Hi Julie,

My name is Laura Kennedy, I am the liaison for SEPAC at Deer Hill. I spoke with the presenter David Murphy. He said his presentation is geared toward parents but if you felt you wanted to bring your teen that is okay.

Interestingly, we just had our SEPAC meeting this week and discussed the potential for setting up a future event, geared for kids (and their parents) on managing homework and organizational skills/executive function. We feel there is strong interest and we now need to brainstorm on how to set up a workshop that would accommodate the different levels of learning between 3rd-5th, 6th-8th, and highschool.

I do not think this is something we can squeeze in this year, but hope to set up for next year! Having a 3rd, 5th and 8th grader myself, I am keen to see this happen.
