Summer Program
Applications are being accepted for the 2015 Tufts Summer Reading Program. The summer reading program offers small group instruction for students entering 2nd - 5th grade who are reading below grade level. Our talented and experienced teaching staff integrates several evidence-based reading programs, including the RAVE-O program, with effective motivational strategies to foster self-regulated learning and ensure reading skills remain intact over the summer. Upon entering the program each student’s reading abilities are assessed using a formal reading battery, and scores are used to formulate a reading profile, and create small instructional groups of similar skill levels. Each group consists of approximately five students and two teachers. Dates for the 2015 program are Monday – Thursday, 9am – 1pm, June 29 – July 30. Cost is $1650.
