9/23 rowing program for students w/ special needs

SNAP/Hingham High School Rowing Association (HHSRA)

SNAP and the HHSRA are pleased to offer a rowing program for students with special needs. 
This five-week session is offered to middle and high school students who receive special education services. 
The program will take place on Wednesday and Friday afternoons at Lincoln Maritime Center (LMC).

Time:  3:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. 
(Please note:  arrival time no earlier than 2:55 p.m. – with the exception of the HPS van).

Location:  Lincoln Maritime Center, 23 Summer Street, Hingham

Cost:   $65.

The program will be limited to 15 participants and 1:1 support will be provided to students who require it.  

Program Description:  The rowing program will provide an opportunity for participants to learn basic rowing skills, perform gentle stretching exercises, understand the importance of water safety, and work alongside teammates.  
With Coach Hayes as the leader, it will be a fun time for all!

What to bring/wear: Close-fitting clothing, sneakers, and a water bottle.  

Registration:  This program is open to middle and high school students in Hingham,

Hull, Norwell, and Cohasset who receive special education services. 

Registration, completed forms, and payment must be received before the start of the program.
