All Stars Tennis with Aceing Autism 2016
The Scituate CORSE Foundation and Scituate Youth Center are collaborating to offer All Stars Tennis. The mission of this 6 week program is to make the sport of tennis available to children with special needs that cannot access a typical program. Each week will introduce or address different basic tennis skills. Children ages 6-22 will learn basic ball and racquet skills. Programming is individualized to fit each participant based on their prior tennis experience, developmental level and motor abilities. Many children will benefit from seeing a visual schedule and cues like place-markers, cones, arrows and targets to help focus. All tennis equipment is provided. Sneakers are mandatory, bug spray and water are recommended. 6 weeks, Mondays 5:45-6:30pm July 11 to August 15 Scituate High School Tennis Courts Fee $60
