Easter Seals Youth Leadership Network (YLN) invites young people with disabilities to join others and participate in group projects, activities, and discussions, designed to help prepare youth to transition from high school to adulthood. If you are a young person with a disability between the ages of 14-26, we hope to see you at an upcoming YLN meeting; it’s never too late to join!

Summer it finally here! In June groups will talk about summer fun ideas. With the 25th anniversary just a month away we will also talk about upcoming celebrations.

Parents are also invited to stay for a parent group, covering topics related to transition services and program for youth with special needs. This month’s workshop presented by Commonwealth Finical Group will provide a comprehensive overview of both the Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act and special needs trusts. We will discuss the ABLE Act’s impact on special needs planning, its benefits, and its limitations. The potential need for a special needs trust, strategies in funding, and working with an attorney will also be presented.  See attached brochure for details.
